Our
STORY
Smart Idea was officially established in August 2017, but our roots in the South African office automation and business technology industry stretch back several decades.
Our journey began during the mid 1980s through to 2009, when the business operated within the Panasonic Business Systems office technology environment, providing businesses with innovative office equipment and support solutions. As the industry evolved, the business expanded its offering under the PanSolutions brand, helping organisations adapt to changing workplace technologies from 2010.
Recognising the growing demand for integrated technology solutions, Smart Idea was launched in 2017 to better reflect a modern approach to business technology.
Today, we provide a comprehensive portfolio of office automation, communication, collaboration and education technology solutions to organisations across South Africa.
